CCTV News: After heavy rainfall, the tourism road bridge in Zhuozhou, Hebei was submerged by floods, with a depth of over 2 meters, hindering the passage of rescue vehicles. In the past two days, after receiving dispatch instructions, Shandong Jinan Fire Department, which was rushing to assist Zhuozhou, used large-scale pumping equipment to continuously carry out drainage operations.
Due to the fact that the road section connected by the bridge is not only the entrance and exit of the Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway, but also connects to the 107 National Highway, and is a necessary route for entering surrounding villages for rescue, the drainage speed of the bridge opening on the Tourism Avenue highway directly affects the subsequent transfer of trapped personnel and the transportation of rescue materials. According to the on-site situation, firefighters used two water supply and drainage robots to lay four main lines for drainage and drainage operations.

During the process of pumping and draining water at the homework site, firefighters conduct real-time inspections of drainage routes, clean debris in bridge tunnels, check the operation of machines, and move the water supply and drainage robots inward every 2 hours. Due to the heavy rescue task, some firefighters stayed up all night to ensure smooth drainage on site.
After continuous pumping and drainage by firefighters, the road section has been restored to traffic.
