At present, six districts in Tianjin have been affected by the flood and more than 80000 people have been urgently relocated and resettled. At present, the Ministry of Emergency Management, in conjunction with the State Grain and Reserve Bureau, has allocated two batches of materials to Tianjin for the proper resettlement of relocated residents. What is the latest situation?
CCTV reporter Huang Da: What I am currently storing around me is the central disaster relief materials transferred by the Emergency Management Department to Tianjin. At present, there are 800 boxes of towels and 1900 packages of bedding stored in the warehouse. The main destination of the materials is to distribute them to residential resettlement points in various districts of Tianjin.
Due to the fact that most residential resettlement sites are based on households, with many elderly and children, in order to ensure that everyone, especially the elderly and children, can sleep more comfortably, towels are made of pure cotton yarn material, which has a very soft touch. The mattress is a specially selected thickened design.
The two batches of central relief materials transferred to Tianjin included 25000 towels and quilts and 25000 cotton mattresses respectively. At present, there are 80000 pieces of relief materials transferred to Hebei and Tianjin, and they will continue to be allocated later. Each batch of allocated materials took less than a day from preparation to completion in Chengdu.

Deputy Director of the Disaster Relief and Material Support Department of the Ministry of Emergency Management, Lai Hongzhou: In response to the current severe flood and disaster situation in Tianjin, our first level management departments at all levels have strengthened close cooperation with grain storage departments, made every effort to ensure the supply of central disaster relief materials, and ensured the basic lives of the disaster stricken people. There are three characteristics:
One is fast emergency response. The emergency department was on duty 24 hours a day. After receiving a request from Tianjin to support central disaster relief materials, they quickly took action and, together with the National Grain Storage Bureau, completed the relevant approval process within half an hour.
The second is fast material allocation. After receiving instructions from the Ministry of Emergency Response regarding the allocation of central disaster relief materials, the State Grain Reserves Administration quickly issued transportation instructions to various central disaster relief material reserves. The relevant reserves completed loading and unloading within half an hour and were quickly transferred to Tianjin.
The third is fast distribution of materials. After the central disaster relief supplies arrived in Tianjin, grassroots cadres and relevant volunteers quickly organized and acted quickly to distribute the supplies to the affected people as soon as possible.

We adhere to the principle of allocating these materials nearby. We have organized transfers from five central disaster relief material reserves located in Tianjin, Beijing, Jinan, Zhengzhou, Changsha, etc. The transfers are mainly used for the temporary resettlement and living support work of the relocated population set up in centralized resettlement points for school affordable housing.
Next, we will closely monitor the flood and disaster situation in Tianjin, conduct intensive consultations, and actively strengthen communication with Tianjin. Once there is a new demand for additional supplies, we will allocate them as soon as possible. In addition, we will continue to maintain communication with the National Grain Reserve Bureau, requiring each reserve warehouse to continue to do a good job in duty, material allocation, and transportation to ensure the basic living of the people.
CCTV reporter Huang Da: Currently, we have learned that 6000 towels and blankets have been transferred to the resettlement site in Jinghai District, and 3000 towels have been transferred to the resettlement site in Xiqing District. It is expected that 3000 household emergency packages will be transferred to Tianjin this afternoon.
