On August 6, the reporter noticed that the official account of the Federation of Chinese and Overseas Chinese in the United States issued an obituary on August 5, saying that Lin Jianxin, the chairman of the Association, had died. After family confirmation and the police report showed that, excluding homicide, excessive drinking caused cardiac arrest. For accidental death, a memorial service would be held in the afternoon of the 11th.
According to multiple Chinese media reports in the United States, the New York police received a report around 21:00 local time on August 2nd. Upon arriving at an apartment located on Prince Street in Flushing, New York, they found that Lin Jianxin had died and no one else was present.

He is a selfless leader of Chinese Americans in the United States, and under his leadership, the Chinese American industry has experienced vigorous development."
According to public information, Lin Jianxin was born in 1971 in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. He started his business in 1990 and went to the United States in 1995. He successively operated hotels, supermarkets, and other industries in New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and other places, achieving outstanding commercial achievements. In addition, Lin Jianxin is also enthusiastic about community welfare and has been widely praised in Chinese communities across the United States.

Regarding false reports such as Lin Jianxin having an argument with investment partners, Lin Zhidong stated that his father did not argue with his friends during a dinner that night.
