On July 28th, Pengpai News found on the official website of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences that Wang Changlin has now served as the Vice President and Party member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Wang Changlin previously served as the President of the China Institute of Macroeconomics.

Wang Changlin mainly engages in macroeconomic and industrial economic research. He has worked at the Institute of Technology and Economics of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Institute of Industry and Technology and Economics of the National Development and Reform Commission. He has served as the Deputy Director, Director, Deputy Director, and Director of the Research Office, and later as the President of the China Macro Economic Research Institute.
The China Institute of Macroeconomics is a research institution directly under the National Development and Reform Commission, mainly providing services for central macroeconomic decision-making and the work of the National Development and Reform Commission Center, while also providing consulting services to the society.
