Energy enterprises are fully committed to ensuring the safety and stable supply of electricity, coal, oil and gas during peak summer season
CCTV News: Recently, high temperatures have persisted in many parts of China. Faced with the peak summer "big exam", energy companies in various regions are making every effort to ensure the safe and stable supply of electricity, coal, oil and gas.
In the southern open-pit coal mine in Inner Mongolia, workers are intensifying production and fully preparing for the hot weather. As the main force in ensuring power supply in the Northeast region, State Power Investment Inner Mongolia Company has added 2 million tons of production capacity this year. As of now, the coal production has reached 36.99 million tons, an increase of about 1.58 million tons year-on-year, and the average inventory can be used for 20 days. Since July, the cumulative monthly power generation of State Power Investment Group has reached 29.445 billion, an increase of 3.12% year-on-year.
On the Baoshen Railway, 1230 cars and 853000 tons of coal are transported every day. On July 12th, the transportation volume reached a record high of 942300 tons. Since July, the operating rate of thermal power units of the National Energy Group has exceeded 91%, and the daily power generation has reached 3.87 billion kilowatt hours. Among them, the power generation on July 11th was 4.19 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 100 million kilowatt hours compared to the previous month.
In Xinjiang, the construction site of the largest natural gas storage facility in China, the Hutubi Gas Storage, is currently undergoing accelerated construction of the second phase of the project. The 43 wells currently operating in the gas storage facility have a daily gas injection volume of 15.5 million cubic meters. As of now, the Hutubi gas storage facility of Xinjiang Oilfield Company has exported over 15.91 billion cubic meters of natural gas, equivalent to more than 1200 West Lake water volumes. During the peak summer season, PetroChina is expected to supply 66.06 billion cubic meters of natural gas, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%.
The picture shows the world's largest "salt light complementary" photovoltaic project recently put into operation - Huadian Tianjin Haijing Photovoltaic Power Station. As an important new energy power supply base in North China, the total power generation has exceeded 23 million kilowatt hours since it was put into operation in early July. As of July 14th, all 7 coal-fired power plants of Huadian Sichuan Company have been fully operational, with a start-up rate of 100%. Since July, thermal power has generated 980 million kilowatt hours of electricity, a year-on-year increase of 13.7%, which is 5.3 percentage points higher than the increase in coal-fired power generation in the main grid.
