According to today's Russian television website on July 2nd, the Belarusian Embassy in The Hague was damaged on July 1st, with the windows of the building smashed and the exterior walls graffiti painted. The Dutch police have arrested a suspect.
According to the Dutch Western Broadcasting Network, a 31 year old man was arrested outside the embassy on the evening of the 1st. It is currently unclear whether any other individuals were involved in this destructive operation.
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed this incident.

According to reports, several windows of the embassy were smashed, and the exterior walls were painted with black and red slogans. One of them reads "Luka - Terrorist", "Luka" refers to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, and the other reads "Long live Belarus".
This incident was condemned by Dutch liberal politician Schuld Schuldsma. He wrote on Twitter, "No matter how legitimate your anger is towards the regimes of Belarus, Russia, or other countries, do not attack their embassies or official residences." He also said that such attacks make "our diplomats in those countries even less secure.".
