Notice for Visitors to the Palace Museum
In order to implement the new era cultural relics work policy of "protection first, strengthening management, excavating value, effectively utilizing and bringing cultural relics to life", truly and completely protect and responsibly inherit and promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture carried by the Forbidden City, jointly maintain a good visiting order of the Forbidden City, and ensure the safety of ancient buildings, cultural relics, and visitors, in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, and in combination with the actual situation of our hospital, this notice is formulated. Audience friends are kindly informed:
Ticket booking and ticket checking instructions
The Palace Museum has not authorized any third-party organizations or individuals to act as ticket agents. To ensure smooth admission and avoid economic losses, please make sure to book tickets and exhibitions through the official "Palace Museum" mini program.
1. The Palace Museum is closed on Monday. Please arrange the visit time in advance.
2. The Palace Museum does not sell tickets for the same day. All visitors must make an appointment with their real names. Annual ticket visitors must register for the visit at least one day in advance.
3. Visitors from mainland China should use their ID cards. For non-mainland Chinese visitors, please use the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, Residence Permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residents, Permanent Residence ID Card or Passport for Foreigners to book and check tickets. Only one ticket can be reserved for each visit day.
4. The audience must bring the original valid certificate used in the reservation and be admitted to the hospital at the meridian gate.
5. Tickets should be reserved at 20:00 on the 7th before the visit, and are valid only on the day of the visit. Tickets are not refundable once they have been inspected.
6. Unused tickets can be refunded through the original booking channel before 24:00 on the day before the visit, excluding cancellation. Tickets can still be refunded before 20:00 on the day of visit, but one cancellation is counted. No refund will be made after 20:00 on the day of visit, and one cancellation will be made. Large tickets that have been registered but not checked for annual tickets can be canceled through the original order channel before 20:00 on the day of the visit, regardless of the break.
7. Some exhibitions must be reserved, subject to the reservation page information. Reservation policy may be temporarily adjusted due to open management requirements, please understand and cooperate with on-site staff management. If you need to cancel your reservation, please cancel your reservation through the original booking channel before 24:00 on the day before the visit, regardless of your reservation. If the reservation is not canceled within the time limit, it will be counted as one time.
8. Each person will break the appointment once a day at most, with a total of 3 times within 180 days. From the next day of the third break, tickets and exhibitions of the Palace Museum will not be available for 60 days.
9. Ticket refund will be returned to the payment account within 5 working days from the date of withdrawal. Please check it carefully. If you do not receive a refund, please call customer service.
10. If you need an invoice, please go to the ticketing window of the audience service center on the west side of Duanmen Square with the original valid certificate used at the time of reservation within one month from the date of reservation or call customer service for consultation.

Security Inspection Notice
1. In order to ensure the safety of ancient buildings, cultural relics and visitors, and establish a good visiting order, please consciously accept the safety inspection before admission. Please refer to the catalogue of prohibited articles in the Palace Museum. The controlled items found in the security check will be handled by the public security organs. Other prohibited items in the catalogue shall be handled by the audience in accordance with the management regulations of the Palace Museum, and those that meet the storage standards can be deposited. If it cannot be handled, the hospital will assist in handling the refund procedures.
2. Alcoholics, unclothed persons, and persons without guardians who have no civil capacity or restricted civil capacity are not admitted to the hospital.

Storage Notice
The Palace Museum provides package storage and free shipping services. Please store items that meet the standards, cooperate with secondary unboxing inspection, and register contact information.

2. Location of deposit and pick-up places: The deposit place is located at the deposit place of the audience service center on the west side of Duanmen Square, and the pick-up place is located at the west side of Shenwumen Inner Square.
3. Storage standard: luggage, large packages of 20 inches and above.
4. Prohibited items: cash, watches, computers, digital products, gold and silver jewelry and other valuables, as well as various flammable, explosive, fragile, fragile and odorous items, food, etc.
5. The bag card is the only voucher for picking up the bag. Please keep it properly. The Palace Museum shall not be held responsible for the loss of property due to the loss of the deposit card.
6. The Palace Museum only provides temporary deposit service. Please take away the deposit package before the closing of the museum on the same day. If it is not taken away within the time limit, it will be handed over to the relevant departments for handling. The Palace Museum shall not be liable for any property loss caused by overdue collection.
Notice for visiting the hospital
1. Please take good care of the world cultural heritage of the Forbidden City. Smoking is prohibited in the Palace Museum; it is forbidden to climb ancient buildings, furnishings, cultural relics, rockery, ancient and famous trees, etc.; it is forbidden to touch, carve, or smear ancient buildings, cultural relics and exhibits.
2. Please visit in a civilized and orderly manner. It is forbidden to chase and play, make loud noises, play musical instruments, play sound outside, and occupy public facilities and public spaces for a long time.
3, please take good care of the public environment, do not trample on the lawn, climb flowers and trees, prohibit spitting, defecation.
4. Please consciously maintain the order of visiting the exhibition hall and prohibit live broadcast and recording activities from the media in the exhibition hall. It is forbidden to eat and drink and set up easel in the exhibition hall. It is forbidden to use flash, selfie stick and bracket photographic equipment to shoot in the exhibition hall.
5. It is forbidden to beg, perform arts, pull banners, distribute, hang or paste advertisements, and carry out activities or behaviors that violate public order and good customs.
6. Without the permission of our hospital, all kinds of performances, publicity, interviews, social surveys, religious activities, sale of goods or services, commercial shooting and other non-tour activities are prohibited.
7. Our hospital has the right to dissuade and stop the above or other acts that affect the safety of ancient buildings, cultural relics, visitors and visiting order. For serious cases, our hospital will record "uncivilized tourist information" and report it to the cultural and tourism authorities. Once a "record of uncivilized tourism behavior" is formed, it will be prohibited from being admitted to the hospital for visits within the corresponding period; suspected illegal acts will be handed over to the public security organs for handling.
