At present, this zero carbon industrial park has formed a closed-loop production chain for new energy lithium batteries. After leaving the factory, lithium iron phosphate can directly enter another large lithium battery production enterprise in the park. The annual output of power batteries in enterprises can reach over 10 million, which is equivalent to storing 120 billion kilowatt hours of electricity.
According to the data from the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, in the first half of 2023, the cumulative production of power batteries in China increased by 36.8% year-on-year, and the cumulative installed capacity increased by 38.1% year-on-year. Not only is the quantity growing rapidly, but the competitiveness continues to improve. In the first five months of 2023, among the top 10 global power battery installation companies, Chinese power battery companies accounted for six. In the first half of 2023, China's new three types of products, electric passenger vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and solar cells, became popular overseas, with a total export growth of 61.6%, driving an overall export growth of 1.8 percentage points.
The green industry has made rapid progress, and traditional industries have not stopped. At this steelmaking plant in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, a roll of green low-carbon hot formed steel for automobiles was successfully produced. In April 2023, this type of automotive steel plate developed using the short process electric furnace steelmaking process was successfully manufactured for the first time in China, significantly reducing carbon emissions during the steelmaking process.

At present, China's green and low-carbon transformation has achieved significant results, and the energy consumption intensity of industries such as non-ferrous metals, building materials, steel, and chemical industry continues to decline.
