This year is the third time Royal Philips of the Netherlands has participated in the Service Trade Fair. This Dutch company, which established its first joint venture in China as early as 1985, now sees China as its second "local market". Philips hopes to combine global innovation with local demand through the Service Trade Fair, achieve sharing and win-win, and continuously deepen practical cooperation in service trade.
Philips Vice President William Yang, who has just returned to the Netherlands from his visit to China, was deeply impressed by this visit. According to his introduction, he was amazed by the innovative achievements made by Chinese partners. Chinese experts have creatively utilized artificial intelligence in the field of medical imaging, effectively improving medical efficiency. The innovation capability of Chinese companies is becoming a new driving force for Philips to localize and continue investing in China. "Philips is increasing its localization process in China. We currently offer many medical testing instruments and digital solutions, with almost 90% of our products manufactured in China, including our five factories and our partners in China. I have witnessed firsthand in China that our CT equipment uses artificial intelligence technology provided by Chinese suppliers. Many of our progress and investment in China are due to the characteristics of the Chinese medical system. There are 37000 hospitals in China, and this uniqueness requires more localized innovation and solutions. This is also the direction we are striving for."
In the context of the ongoing conflict between Russia-Ukraine conflict and the increase of unstable factors in the international environment, the Service Trade Fair has arrived as scheduled, and has become an important platform for the debut of new products, new technologies and new achievements in the world. With the increasing influence of this platform, Philips has become more determined to join the "circle of friends" of the Service Trade Fair.

Yang Wilhelm stated that as a European company that has participated in the China International Fair for Trade in Services for three consecutive years, Philips is committed to collaborating with local technology companies in China, combining global innovation with local demand, collaborating with local universities, enterprises, and hospitals, and working together with China to address challenges from the healthcare sector. "Philips is excited and delighted to participate in the third World Trade Fair in Services. In the first year, we focused on the digital field; last year we focused on testing for serious diseases such as cancer; and this year we will showcase our innovative cooperation with Chinese companies under the global environmental protection system."
The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) has always focused on areas such as low-carbon energy, carbon economy, carbon neutrality, and green technology, showcasing the latest achievements and technological applications in global environmental services, and encouraging relevant enterprises to innovate and cooperate. Yang Wilhelm noticed that cooperation between Europe and China in the fields of health and green economy has become an important growth point for both sides. At the same time, China's ambition in addressing climate change has also attracted global attention. It is worth mentioning that the Chinese government's efforts in the green transformation of medical institutions have already taken a leading position in the world. The future cooperation between the Netherlands and China in this field will set an example for the world. "China can make many contributions to the world in addressing health and climate change, and the world will trust China more. In fact, the medical industry accounts for 5% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, it is our responsibility to make hospitals more green and environmentally friendly. China is also aware of this and is investing in environmental protection in the medical field. The Dutch government is also doing so. The Netherlands and China will find better solutions and cooperation channels through digitization, better technology, and higher efficiency. In the field of health and environmental protection, our cooperation opportunities are broad."
