People's nature is the essential attribute of Marxism, and the theory of the Party is derived from, for, and for the benefit of the people. 1. The people are the creators of history

Marx and Engels systematically pondered the relationship between human beings and history, believing that the primary prerequisite for human history is the existence of a living individual. The basic viewpoint of Marxist materialist historical view is that social existence determines social consciousness, and production mode determines social development. The people are the creators of material and spiritual wealth. The Marxist materialist view of history holds that the practical activities of the people not only create an objectified material world, but also a rich spiritual world. The people are the creators of material wealth. The production of material means is a prerequisite for all history, and without a certain amount of material means of production, there can be no human history. The material resources necessary for human survival and development are produced by the vast majority of the people. As the main body of material production activities, the people continuously accumulate production experience, innovate and create production technologies, and promote the development of productive forces and the growth of social material wealth in practice. The people are also creators of spiritual wealth. Social existence determines social consciousness, which is a reflection of social existence. The production practice of the people provides a material basis for the creation of spiritual wealth, and all spiritual wealth is rooted in the practical activities of the people.

The main practical activities of the people constitute the foundation of social life, and all social changes are based on this foundation. While the people create material and spiritual wealth, they also create and transform social production relations. Any social change cannot be separated from the active participation of the people, and cannot be separated from the full play of their enthusiasm and initiative. Marx and Engels pointed out that "historical activities are the activities of the masses, and as historical activities deepen, they will inevitably lead to the expansion of the masses.". Although heroic figures have also played an important role in historical development and change, social change ultimately depends on the will, wishes, and interests of the general public. From the perspective of historical materialism, only the people are the true creators of history and the fundamental driving force behind social change and reform.

2. The creative practice of the people is an inexhaustible source of theoretical innovation

A great era requires great theories. The Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Significant Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party's Centennial Struggle takes "adhering to theoretical innovation" as one of the historical experiences of the CPC's centennial struggle, and points out that "as long as we are brave to combine new practice and constantly promote theoretical innovation, and are good at guiding new practice with new theories, Marxism will certainly show a stronger and more persuasive force of truth in China." The Marxist materialist view of history points out that theory is a social consciousness primarily based on rationality, and theoretical innovation is a need for the unity of social existence and social consciousness. It cannot be separated from the objective law that social existence determines social consciousness, and social consciousness reacts on social existence. The human understanding of truth is extracted and summarized through the cyclic process of material and spiritual production, from sensibility to rationality and then to practice. Adhering to the principle of people first is a profound summary of the valuable experience of the CPC over the past century and an unswerving pursuit of value, and an important embodiment of the Marxist concept of people. History created the CPC in the people's exploration and struggle, and the CPC led the people to create a new historical glory. During the period of the new democratic revolution and the socialist revolution and construction, the CPC, with Comrade Mao Zedong as the main representative, combined the basic principles of Marxism with the specific reality of China, adhered to the integration of theory with practice, closely linked with the masses, absorbed the wisdom of the masses and relied on the strength of the people with the strong support and sincere support of the masses, and created Mao Zedong Thought through hard exploration.
