"Don't suggest," the Ukrainian Ministry of National Defense shouted, "We need ammunition."
According to the website of the US Capitol Hill Daily on August 31st, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense requested "ammunition, not advice" in a new video on the same day. Previously, US officials criticized Kiev's strategy in a slow counterattack.
"It seems that everyone is an expert in the Ukrainian war now," the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense mentioned in a video posted on social media website X.
"Although we appreciate everyone's attention, we humbly remind you that if we listen to what non Ukrainians said in February 2022, we will no longer exist," the video added, "but thank you all the same. But what we need is ammunition, not advice."
According to reports, US officials have recently claimed that the Ukrainian military and resource allocation are improper, resulting in dispersion between the eastern and southern fronts. According to the New York Times, they urged Kiev to focus its efforts on advancing southward towards Melitopol.
The United States is pushing for a strategic shift and hoping to achieve substantial results from the latest counterattack. At this time, political support for aid to Ukraine is weakening, and the Biden administration's aid to Ukraine is approaching the funding limit approved by Congress.
