Does the publication of works rely on sending tea leaves? One publication said that it was returned immediately and denied by many. Famous poets were suspected of plagiarizing official account | Feng Shuhui | Tea
A WeChat official account recently reported that the reason why the poet Feng Shuhui's suspected plagiarism works could be published in large numbers was that he sent tea or articles of unknown value to the editorial offices of major journals. If the editor did not publish, he would report to the Commission for Discipline Inspection on the grounds that tea was worth 5000 yuan. Finally, turn the big things into small ones, turn the small things into small ones, and send them out.
The article points out that Feng Shuhui's widely used "fishing for the editorial department's fish" submission method almost always hits the key points of various publications, and his works have been successfully published. But there are also honest editors who hold onto this bottom line. Feng Shuhui's gift giving operation in May 2022 was explicitly rejected by the editor of a certain publication.
Pengpai News noticed that the Literary Harbor magazine had issued a statement on June 30 this year, stating that it had received reports that some of the content of Southern Qilin's works was suspected of plagiarism, and Feng Shuhui refused to admit his plagiarism. The Literary Harbor magazine stated that it has always adopted a zero tolerance attitude towards plagiarism. It is now decided to suspend the payment of manuscript fees to the journal, and the legal affairs of the journal will be fully responsible for following up and handling subsequent matters. Once it is determined that plagiarism constitutes plagiarism, in addition to deducting the publication fee, this person's work will never be accepted in the future.
On July 5th, Pengpai News contacted the relevant person in charge of the editorial department of the Literary Harbor magazine. According to her introduction, on May 31, 2022, she received a box of items from Feng Shuhui, which contained several boxes of tea and a paper manuscript. The manuscript was left behind and the tea was returned without any threat.
She recalled, "At that time, the courier was still contacting me, hoping that I could explain the reason for sending the package back. Perhaps it was because Feng Shuhui received a message from SF Express and found out that" Wenxue Gang "had sent it back to him, so he called to ask if the courier had not delivered it." Later, she contacted Feng Shuhui and told him not to send anything back, but to send the manuscript to the designated email.
On July 5th, Pengpai News also contacted the editorial departments of multiple publications such as "Beijing Literature", "Yuhua", "West Lake", and "Works", and received responses stating that they had not received any tea or other items sent by Feng Shuhui.
Among them, a staff member of the editorial department of "Beijing Literature" said that we have not received anything, it is a normally published manuscript, don't listen to outside nonsense. A staff member from the editorial department of "Green Wind" said, "All the express deliveries in the editorial department were signed for by me, and I have not received such things here."
On July 5th, Pengpai News attempted to contact Feng Shuhui himself through phone numbers, QQ accounts, and other means, but was unable to reach him as of the time of publication.
Recently, several publications such as "Beijing Literature" have spoken out, believing that Feng Shuhui's works constitute or are suspected of plagiarism.
Among them, the editorial department of "Beijing Literature" said that at noon on July 1, WeChat's public number "Reading a Good Poem" reflected that the first "Ageless Drum" in Feng Shuhui's poem "Images of Existence" published in the 5th issue of 2023 was suspected of copying Mei Yifan's prose poem "Drum". Later, WeChat's public number "Adu Adu Adu Writing Poems Alone" reflected that another "Iron Fate" was suspected of plagiarizing Zhilu's prose poem "Fate". After learning about the situation, our magazine attached great importance to it. After careful comparison by the editorial department, we believe that there are indeed plagiarism and changes. Our magazine has zero tolerance for plagiarism and has now decided to recover the remuneration of "Existential Images" and will not employ the author's works in the future. Here, I would like to express my sincere apologies to the original authors Mei Yifan and Zhilu.
The Rain Flower magazine said that on June 29, the WeChat official account "read a good poem" reflected that some of the contents of Feng Shuhui's poems "Inside the Stone" published by our magazine in the fourth journal in 2023 were suspected of plagiarism. Our magazine attaches great importance to it, and after careful reading and comparison, we believe that there are instances of plagiarism and plagiarism in "Snow" and "River", which are suspected of plagiarism. Our magazine has always maintained a zero tolerance attitude towards plagiarism. I have now decided to recover the remuneration for the article "Inside the Stone" and will no longer hire this person's work in the future.
Earlier on April 24th, the editorial department of West Lake magazine stated that some enthusiastic readers had reported that the first issue of "Feng Shuhui's Poems" published in 2023, in which "Facing Trees" and "The Life of Pine Trees" were suspected of plagiarism and plagiarism. After verification and verification by the editorial department of this magazine, the traces of plagiarism and alteration in the two poems mentioned above are clear and constitute plagiarism. Our magazine has always adhered to a zero tolerance attitude towards plagiarism, once again condemning all acts of plagiarism, and has decided to recover Feng Shuhui's payment for the first issue of 2023. We will never publish Feng Shuhui's articles in the future.
