For several months, scientists from the International Center for Radio Astronomy used the Murchison Wide Area Array Radio Telescope located in Australia to scan the Milky Way galaxy every three nights. Soon, they made an exciting discovery: "Almost at the beginning of our observation, we discovered a new light source in the sky, repeating it every 22 minutes."
Subsequently, they observed the outer space object through every available radio, X-ray, and optical telescope equipment. As a result, it was found that this unknown object continuously emitted radio signals with each pulse lasting for 5 minutes and an interval of 17 minutes.
When researchers searched past radio observation archives, a real surprise emerged. Scientists have found that these signal waves have been detected on Earth every year since at least 1988, but have not received much attention. However, "the target looks like a pulsar, but its rotation speed is 1000 times slower." This contradicts expectations.
Secondly, it may be a white dwarf or a magnetic star, which is a star with an extremely strong magnetic field. However, if it were a radio explosion of a magnetic star, it should only be visible over a period of several months to several years, rather than lasting for 35 years.
