Disqualified!, Five Provincial Representative Inheritors of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Fujian Province Representative | Inheritors | Fujian
The system of representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage is a practice in China to fulfill the Convention for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage. In recent years, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Fujian Province has implemented the Intangible Cultural Heritage Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on Intangible Cultural Heritage of Fujian Province, and established a mechanism for representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage to withdraw. Since 2022, in accordance with Article 22 of the "Fujian Provincial Measures for the Recognition and Management of Representative Inheritors of Intangible Cultural Heritage", the qualifications of five provincial-level representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, Liu Donghua, Li Fengqiang, Fang Yanghang, Chen Guantie, and Ye Yunfei, have been successively cancelled, and the provincial-level representative inheritor system of intangible cultural heritage has been continuously improved.
The exit mechanism for inheritors of intangible cultural heritage is an important component of consolidating the systematic protection of intangible cultural heritage. It is of great significance to promote inheritors to improve their personal qualities, enhance their inheritance capabilities, fulfill their responsibilities and obligations, and enhance their sense of mission and responsibility in protecting intangible cultural heritage. Next, Fujian Province will promote the sinking and extension of the exit mechanism for inheritors, forming a clear guidance of "entry and exit".
