Disaster relief forces increase their investigation efforts to ensure that residents in dangerous areas must be transferred and reinforced early. Waterproofing measures
CCTV News: In response to the new round of rainfall caused by Typhoon Kanu's landfall, disaster relief forces in Jilin, Heilongjiang and other regions have increased their investigation efforts, conducting door-to-door inspections of villages prone to flooding, and waterproofing and reinforcement of multiple river embankments to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
The rainfall area brought by the typhoon "Kanu" will coincide with the area affected by the previous rainstorm in northeast China. In Shulan, Jilin, the rescue and disaster relief command team of a certain brigade of the 78th Group Army conducted early surveys of high-risk areas susceptible to flood threats, observed natural villages and towns that are highly prone to flash flood disasters, and mobilized some backbone forces from various echelons to issue early warning prompts and door-to-door notices.
