Affected by Typhoon Du Suri, Zhuozhou City in Hebei Province has recently suffered from severe flooding. At present, the disaster relief work team dispatched by the National Disaster Reduction Commission and the Ministry of Emergency Management is guiding the work on the front line in the flood stricken areas of Hebei. The reporter from China Emergency Management Daily followed the working group to visit the resettlement site on site.
The disaster stricken people have temporary accommodation
After the disaster in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, the Vocational and Technical Education Center of Zhuozhou City urgently launched the resettlement work for the affected population, mobilizing more than 200 party members, cadres, and employees to participate in volunteer service work. During the summer vacation of the school, the school arranged student dormitories for temporary accommodation for the disaster stricken residents.
On August 3rd, at the resettlement site of the Vocational and Technical Education Center in Zhuozhou City, batches of disaster relief materials such as food, vegetables, and mineral water were gradually transported to the resettlement site. Many people were queuing up to receive newly delivered cotton mats and towels. In the room of the placement point, each person has one bed.
At present, the disaster relief work team dispatched by the National Disaster Reduction Commission and the Ministry of Emergency Management is guiding the work on the front line in the flood stricken areas of Hebei.
Disaster relief supplies are being distributed to the affected population
According to the person in charge of the resettlement site for disaster stricken people at Zhuozhou Vocational and Technical Education Center, the resettlement site has been receiving and relocating disaster stricken people since July 31st, and has gradually received more than 4000 people. Currently, there are more than 2600 people in the resettlement center.
The basic living needs of the affected people can be met, and disinfection and sterilization and medical supplies will continue to be guaranteed in the future. The family emergency kits and other central relief supplies allocated by the Emergency Management Department are being distributed to the affected people.

Grandpa Sun Yinsheng from Wharf Village has been living at the vocational education center settlement in Zhuozhou City for 3 days. He sat on the bed with new bedding and said, "Sleep is also stable, and life is also quite good!"

Grandpa Sun introduced that the resettlement site has distributed food such as bread, milk, ham and sausages in the past two days, and can guarantee three meals a day.
On August 3, the resettlement site of Zhuozhou Vocational and Technical Education Center opened a canteen to provide dinner for the victims, and prepared rice, Mantou, stew and other food. At lunch, everyone had lined up in the canteen.
Zhang Chao from Lujiachang Village and his parents had lunch in the cafeteria, "There are staple foods and stewed dishes, all provided for free."
