Mr. Wu is 39 years old and lives in Lishui District, Nanjing. He graduated from a 211 university in Jiangsu with a bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2007.
In May 2022, Mr. Wu applied for the position of ordinary operator at the factory of Nanjing Zhongmao Food Co., Ltd. for the first time. "At that time, a human resources specialist surnamed Yang hired me and asked me to bring my ID card, bank card, and photo to report and complete the entry procedures, but later they told me not to go." Mr. Wu said that the explanation given by the human resources manager at the time, Mr. Tu, was that my education was too high.
Mr. Wu also explained to the reporter that his application for this factory was not impulsive. "It is indeed very close to my home, only a 10 minute journey, and the salary and benefits of 5000 yuan on the recruitment notice are decent. I also explained to their HR department that they could transfer to other positions, but they insisted on canceling the employment." Later, Mr. Wu had to give up and chose to work in another factory.
In October 2022, Mr. Wu applied for the food company again. "This time, the HR specialist's surname is Liu, which is not the same person as the first time." Mr. Wu said that when he was hired again and brought his documents to the factory to report, he was once again cancelled by the HR manager. In June 2023, Mr. Wu, who was unwilling, once again applied for the food company through offline recruitment.
