Delivered to Sudan, 4.6 tons! Chinese humanitarian aid materials and supplies | Sudan | Humanity
On August 2nd local time, the Chinese Embassy in Sudan handed over a batch of humanitarian aid supplies provided by China to the Sudanese government in the eastern port city of Sudan.
The batch of humanitarian aid supplies provided by China to Sudan amounts to approximately 4.6 tons, including medical equipment, medical consumables, medicines, etc. It was originally planned to be donated by the 37th batch of Chinese medical aid teams to Sudan's corresponding cooperative hospitals in accordance with the relevant health cooperation agreement between the Chinese and Soviet governments. However, due to the sudden outbreak of armed conflict in Sudan in mid April, the goods were forced to be stranded in Sudan Port.
On August 2nd, Zhang Xianghua, the Charg é d'affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Sudan, and Jamal Neil, the Deputy Minister of Social Development of Sudan, signed a donation agreement on behalf of both China and the Soviet Union, officially transferring this batch of medical supplies to the Soviet side. In addition, the living supplies donated by the Chinese Red Cross to the Sudan Red Crescent have arrived in Sudan on July 14th.
