Culture and Tourism Department: Highlighting the "cultural flavor" and "fireworks" in the summer tourism market to benefit the people | Culture | Culture and Tourism Department
In the first half of this year, China's cultural and tourism market continued to recover. Especially during the peak summer season, the domestic tourism market is bustling with activity. At the policy briefing held by the State Council Information Office today, relevant officials from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism stated that they will provide better product and service supply to the market during the summer, and better meet the travel needs of the people through a strong "cultural flavor" and a full "fireworks atmosphere".
Miao Muyang, Director of the Industrial Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism: We have organized tens of thousands of cultural and tourism activities in various regions based on the characteristics of summer, launched the "Hundred Cities and Hundred Districts" financial support for cultural and tourism consumption action plan, held special docking activities, and implemented measures to benefit the people such as consumption subsidies, consumption discounts, ticket price discounts, and point reward exchanges. Various regions have launched summer consumption gift packages tailored to local conditions.
Miao Muyang stated that currently, tourism consumption is shifting from sightseeing at scenic spots to leisure vacation and deep experience, with a greater emphasis on spiritual and cultural enjoyment. Various regions are deepening the integration of culture, commerce, and tourism, enhancing cultural taste, enriching spiritual connotations, cultivating new forms and models of consumption, including building "small and beautiful" new spaces for performing arts, innovating and upgrading music festivals, concerts, and other products, promoting the healthy development of new formats such as script entertainment, camping tourism, and tourism performing arts, and meeting the quality and diversified needs of consumers.
