Live streaming sales encounter "business opportunities"
Tang is a video platform anchor who shoots videos and promotes products every day. He earns a decent income and is also well-known in the industry. One day in 2018, a netizen nicknamed "Little Shoes" chatted with Tang in a live broadcast room, claiming that selling goods had no future and boasting that he had a big project that could make a lot of money.
Tang replied half confidently, "Don't brag, you really have the ability. Give me 50000 yuan." Soon, Tang received 50000 yuan from "Little Shoes". After seeing real gold and silver, Tang was convinced that "Little Shoes" had strong strength.
Subsequently, "Little Shoes" made a request to Tang to help promote the gambling app for a friend, and sent a QR code. Due to receiving payment for "Little Shoes", Tang did not refuse and sent the QR code for downloading the gambling app to his social media.
Not long after, "Little Shoes" claimed that Tang's promotion effect was very good, invited him to have a business interview, and promised to give Tang a higher position and compensation. They also introduced Tang to Myanmar for "investigation".
Tang finally realized that "Little Shoes" was to help him form a gambling app promotion team and develop gambling membership. Due to having already taken the benefits of "small shoes", Tang chose to take risks.

In the process of handling the case, the Yixing Procuratorate established a special case team to intervene and guide the investigation in accordance with the law at the invitation of the public security organs. The handling prosecutor guides the investigative authorities to collect evidence of fixed online casinos around "capital flow" and "information flow" in response to the characteristics of cross-border online gambling cases.
In order to supplement the key evidence, the prosecutor in charge guided the investigation agency to investigate the mobile phones of the gang members involved in the case, retrieved partial revenue data from the promotion of the gambling app, and improved the data on the number of promoted gamblers and recharge amounts in the gambling app backend through the confession of the involved financial personnel Li. Combined with the evidence of gambling dens previously seized by the Wuxi police, it was confirmed that the gambling app in question has gambling functions. Based on this, the Yixing City Procuratorate has added the determination that 12 people in the case promoted gambling apps, constituting the crime of aiding information network criminal activities.
In January 2021, the Yixing City Procuratorate prosecuted 19 people, including Tang, on suspicion of organizing others to illegally cross the border, illegally crossing the border, and aiding in information network criminal activities. Recently, the court made the above judgment after trial.
