Fangchenggang City is the only coastal and border city in Guangxi, as well as a port type and land border port type national logistics hub carrier city. In recent years, based on the geographical advantages and open conditions along the coast, and supported by the International Medical Open Experimental Zone, we have coordinated the development of platforms such as the Dongxing Experimental Zone. Fangchenggang City has built 52 berths with a capacity of over 10000 tons, including 5 berths with a capacity of over 200000 tons, forming a "two horizontal and one vertical" highway network. We are benchmarking against the "Four First Class" and accelerating the planning and construction of a batch of large-scale docks with a capacity of 100000 to 400000 tons. We are vigorously developing multimodal transportation by sea, rail, and river, making the channels of the "sea" more efficient and fully unleashing the vitality of the "river". Promote upgrading and accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system. We will make full use of the border and actively cooperate with neighboring countries, make good use of the markets and resources of ASEAN countries, accelerate the cultivation of modern port industries, build cross-border industrial chain bases, enhance the scale and efficiency of imported goods landing and processing, and play a positive role in ensuring the safety and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain. Only by promoting high-quality development with high-level openness can we continuously expand new spaces for development.
