Starting from the 16th, Beijing has entered a new round of high-temperature weather, with daily maximum temperatures exceeding 36 ℃. On the morning of the 19th, the streets of Beijing were still scorching with scorching sun and hot waves, and were under the yellow warning of high temperature. It is expected that such high temperature weather will continue until the 20th.
Heat prevention, sun protection, and hydration are still key reminders for travel or outdoor work these days.

Under the hot weather, urban operation and support personnel such as sanitation workers, express delivery, and delivery drivers are still holding their posts. In Jianwai Street, Chaoyang District, the street social work service center, in collaboration with the labor union, mobilized local enterprises, institutions, and residents to set up a care corner for free collection of cool drinks and meal packages during busy outdoor work hours and locations.
Li Nan, Deputy Director of Jianwai Street Office in Chaoyang District: Set up at the entrance of buildings to expand the coverage of our services. Our volunteers also provide extended services, delivering cool and caring items to express delivery stations. At the same time, we also deliver sanitation workers, security guards, and cleaners to the property management of buildings.

The Beijing housing and construction department requires that construction sites arrange work hours reasonably, rotate operations, reduce labor intensity, and reduce outdoor work during high temperature periods.
