"Promoting BRICS cooperation to take more solid steps"
This meeting is the first offline meeting of leaders of BRICS countries in over three years, and it is also the first time the BRICS summit has entered Africa after five years. The meeting will revolve around the theme of "BRICS and Africa: Deepening Partnership, Promoting Mutual Growth, Achieving Sustainable Development, and Strengthening Inclusive Multilateralism", continuing the good cooperation momentum of last year's BRICS "China Year", and jointly creating a better future for the BRICS.
Kotan Buhana, founder and editor in chief of South Africa's Diplomatic Circle, stated that the importance of BRICS countries practicing true multilateralism and promoting the development of global governance systems towards a more just and reasonable direction is constantly highlighted.

The BRICS Summit once again enters Africa and will make new contributions to promoting sustainable development in Africa. "The continuous expansion of the BRICS' circle of friends' indicates that the BRICS cooperation mechanism is maintaining strong vitality. China is promoting the deepening and expansion of the 'BRICS+' cooperation model, striving to enhance the openness and inclusiveness of BRICS cooperation, which will undoubtedly promote more solid steps in BRICS cooperation."

Paul Robell, a researcher at the BRICS Policy Research Center in Brazil, believes that the importance of strengthening solidarity and cooperation among BRICS countries is becoming increasingly prominent. He looks forward to China further promoting technological innovation, economic and trade exchanges, and cultural exchanges among BRICS countries, injecting stability and positive energy into the turbulent and intertwined world.

The BRICS cooperation mechanism is an important platform for strengthening cultural exchange and mutual learning. We look forward to the BRICS leaders meeting to promote more comprehensive and in-depth dialogue among all parties, strengthen BRICS unity in multicultural exchanges, and demonstrate the strength of BRICS.

South Africa is China's comprehensive strategic partner, and also the first African country to join the "the Belt and Road" cooperation. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea 25 years ago, the bilateral relationship has achieved leapfrog development, far exceeding the scope of bilateral relations and increasingly having a global impact.
The First Deputy General Secretary of the African National Assembly in South Africa, Mokoniane, stated that South Africa and China have carried out fruitful cooperation in the fields of economy, technology, and culture. They have closely cooperated within multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations, the G20, and the BRICS countries, jointly safeguarding the interests of developing countries and promoting world peace and development.
Tan Zheli, Senior Researcher at the Mbeki Institute for African Leadership at the University of South Africa, stated that South and China support each other on issues related to each other's core interests and major concerns, and work together on the path of development and revitalization, making positive contributions to promoting world multipolarity and democratization of international relations.
Monyela, spokesperson for the South African Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation and Deputy Director General of Public Diplomacy, stated that this year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Africa and China. As a comprehensive strategic partner, South Africa and China have achieved fruitful results in mutually beneficial cooperation. China has been South Africa's largest trading partner for 14 consecutive years, and South Africa has been China's largest trading partner in Africa for 13 consecutive years. Looking towards the future, South China economic, trade and investment cooperation has very broad prospects.
"South Africa and China have a deep friendship," said Busi Mabza, President of the BRICS Business Council in South Africa. China has always supported South Africa's accelerated development and revitalization, and the cooperation between the two countries' enterprises has yielded fruitful results. BAIC South Africa Automotive Manufacturing Co., Ltd., jointly invested by China's Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd. and South African Industrial Development Corporation, has become an example of mutually beneficial cooperation between South and China. "We hope that cooperation between South and China in infrastructure and other fields can be further deepened to enhance the well-being of the two peoples."
China's achievements in poverty reduction are inspiring and provide reference for other developing countries such as South Africa. Over the past decade, Wesley Douglas, a director of the African Carbon Exchange, has frequently visited China, witnessing the increasing living standards of the Chinese people.
"Africa China relations will usher in a better tomorrow"
Over the past 10 years, China and Africa have continuously deepened cooperation on mechanisms and platforms such as the "the Belt and Road" initiative and the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, and the building of a community of shared future between China and Africa in the new era has continued to go deeper and deeper, and continue to benefit the people of both sides. Both China and Africa aim to inherit and promote the spirit of "China Africa friendly cooperation" and tangible cooperation achievements to create a better future for the people of China and Africa, and to set an example for promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
"Peace and development are the common aspirations of all mankind. The current international situation is undergoing profound and complex changes, and the world needs to gather confidence and strength in unity and cooperation. The holding of this China Africa Leaders' Dialogue coincides with the timing." Nasser Buhiba, Chairman of the Moroccan Africa China Cooperation and Development Association, stated that Africa China cooperation has achieved fruitful results, and the concepts of joint consultation, construction, sharing, and win-win cooperation have deeply rooted in people's hearts.
"The concept of a community with a shared future for mankind is widely welcomed in Africa. We look forward to the China Africa Leaders' Dialogue making contributions to promoting security and stability in Africa and promoting economic and trade cooperation between Africa and China." Emmanuel Matambo, a researcher at the Africa China Research Center at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa, said that China's advocacy for building a new era of a community with a shared future for China and Africa reflects China's vision of common development and shared future with African countries. "African countries have actively participated in the 'the Belt and Road' initiative, promoted the implementation of the outcomes of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, and strongly promoted the development of African countries." Matambo took his hometown Zambia as an example. Chinese enterprises carried out projects such as power grid upgrading in Zambia, which ensured local power supply, and economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has brought tangible benefits to local people.
Dennis Muneney, Executive Director of the China Africa Center at the Kenya Africa Policy Research Institute, stated that in the 23 years since the establishment of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, Chinese companies have helped African countries add and upgrade over 10000 kilometers of railways, nearly 100000 kilometers of roads, nearly a thousand bridges, and nearly a hundred ports. "Constantly improved infrastructure has become an important support for Africa's development, and Africa China cooperation projects such as schools, hospitals and factories have also benefited more and more African people." Munineh said that as the flagship project of the "the Belt and Road" jointly built by Kenya and China, the Mombasa Nairobi Railway has facilitated Kenya's passenger travel and cargo transportation, greatly promoting Kenya's economic and social development.
Hassan Rajab, a renowned Egyptian sinologist and the dean of the Confucius Institute at Suez Canal University in Egypt, stated that the China Africa Leaders Dialogue will create more opportunities for African countries to strengthen exchanges and enhance trade with China. Driven by the initiative of jointly building the "the Belt and Road", the trade cooperation between African countries, including Egypt, and China is increasingly vigorous and has broad prospects for development, which will help maintain a diversified and stable international economic pattern and economic and trade relations.
"The friendship between Africa and China has a long history," said Mamadou Fall, a history professor at Dakar University in Senegal. The unity and mutual assistance between Africa and China have a long history, and both sides have always supported each other in the struggle for national liberation and independence. China has always been committed to providing important assistance to African countries while achieving its own development. The Tanzania Zambia Railway, built in the 1970s, is a witness to the sincere friendship between Africa and China. Nowadays, Africa and China are constantly expanding their cooperation areas, working together to address global issues such as climate change, and making greater contributions to human development. Africa and China are natural partners with a solid foundation of cooperation. "I believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, Africa China relations will usher in a better tomorrow."
