In the new era and new journey, the clarion call for comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization has been sounded, and the blueprint for comprehensively building a socialist modern country has been drawn. We must constantly deepen our understanding of the laws of the Party's theoretical innovation, and open up a new realm of Marxism's sinicization and modernization.

To promote the sinicization and modernization of Marxism, the first thing to be solved is the issue of theoretical attitude, that is, how to treat Marxism scientifically. Marxism was founded by Marx and Engels based on their own era, criticizing and absorbing the excellent achievements of human civilization. As the "most magnificent sunrise" in the history of human thought, Marxism, once born, illuminated the path of exploring historical laws and seeking self liberation, becoming a powerful ideological weapon guiding the proletariat to discover, pursue, and practice truth. Marxism is not a dogma, but a guide to action. The practical application of the basic principles of Marxism should always be based on the historical conditions at that time and place. The essential attribute of Marxism determines that it is an open theoretical system that continuously develops with the times, practice, and scientific development. Marxism has not ended truth, but opened up a path to truth. The basic principles of Marxism can only play a powerful role as ideological weapons by closely integrating with the actual situation of various countries. To adhere to and apply Marxism, we cannot adopt a dogmatic or pragmatic attitude. Instead, we must comprehensively grasp its stance, viewpoints, and methods, apply its scientific worldview and methodology to solve practical problems in China, and promote the development of Marxism through vivid and rich Chinese practices, continuously opening up new horizons for the sinicization and modernization of Marxism.
Why the CPC can and why socialism with Chinese characteristics is good, in the final analysis, is the Marxist line, which is Chinese and contemporary.

Ideals and beliefs are the concentrated embodiment of Marxist worldview, historical view, and values in the goal of struggle. They are people's expectations and unwavering pursuit of a better future, and they endow people with the meaning and value of existence. The belief in Marxism, the belief in socialism and communism, is the political soul and spiritual "calcium" of communists, the spiritual pillar for communists to withstand any test, and also the spiritual support and internal strength for promoting the sinicization and modernization of Marxism.
Looking back at the over a hundred years of struggle, the reason why the Party has been able to lead the people to complete arduous tasks that other political forces in China cannot accomplish through repeated explorations, setbacks, and explorations is fundamentally because we have never wavered in our faith in Marxism, socialism, and communism. A firm ideal and belief enable our party to break free from the narrowness and selfishness of all political organizations and forces pursuing their own special interests in the past. With the scientific spirit of dialectical materialism and a selfless and fearless broad mind, we lead the promotion of the Chinese revolution, construction, and reform, adhere to truth and correct errors in upholding righteousness and innovation, and develop and practice truth in drawing on the strengths of others. The belief in Marxism and communism is the fundamental foundation of the continuous development of our party and people's cause, the source of the continuous progress of our party and people, and provides strong spiritual power for us to continuously compose new chapters of Marxism with Chinese characteristics and modernization. If we deviate from or abandon Marxism and communism, our party will lose its soul, and the sinicization and modernization of Marxism will also lose its direction. On the new journey, we must continue to adhere to our firm faith in Marxism, our firm belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics, our confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture. We must not only have the confidence and confidence to have a unique scenery, but also have an open mind that embraces all rivers and oceans. We must draw on all the excellent achievements of human civilization from the sum of human knowledge, and use lofty and firm ideals and beliefs as spiritual support to continuously open up new horizons for the sinicization and modernization of Marxism.

Whether there is a high level of cultural consciousness and firm cultural confidence is related to the rise and fall of national fortune and cultural security, as well as the inheritance and development of national spirit.
The CPC is a Marxist party with a high degree of cultural consciousness and firm cultural self-confidence. In the process of promoting the sinicization and modernization of Marxism, our party has always adhered to the "soul vein" of Marxism and the "root vein" of excellent traditional Chinese culture. We not only adhere to Marxism as the foundation of building the party and the country, but also take root in the rich historical and cultural soil of our country and nation to develop Marxism without stopping. We pay attention to using Marxism to activate the vitality of excellent factors in excellent traditional Chinese culture and endow them with new contemporary connotations, not only revitalizing the vitality of the times in excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also promoting the sinicization and modernization of Marxism to achieve fruitful theoretical results. Comrade Mao Zedong summarized the Party's ideological line with "seeking truth from facts", Comrade Deng Xiaoping described the phased goals of China's modernization construction with "a moderately prosperous society", Comrade Jiang Zemin proposed the "two vanguard" ideology, and Comrade Hu Jintao proposed the "harmonious society" concept, all of which are examples of combining the basic principles of Marxism with excellent traditional Chinese culture.In particular, a series of major issues such as why, why, how, and what are the results of the combination of the basic principles of Marxism and excellent traditional Chinese culture have been systematically elaborated, which reflects that the CPC people's consciousness of promoting cultural innovation in inheriting the excellent traditional Chinese culture has reached a new height, which will further strengthen the historical basis and mass basis of Chinese modernization Marxism, further expand the cultural foundation of the socialist road with Chinese characteristics, open the space for ideological innovation and institutional innovation, consolidate the cultural subjectivity, realize the organic connection between traditional civilization and modern civilization, exchange and mutual learning between Chinese civilization and world civilization, and gather a stronger spiritual force for the construction of Chinese path to modernization.

The original intention and mission embody the Party's goals and direction of progress. The CPC is born out of its original intention and acts for its mission. The lofty mission has always been an inexhaustible power to inspire generations of CPC people to work tirelessly and constantly promote the localization of Marxism in China and the modernization of Marxism. In the long history, the Chinese chapter of Marxism was composed by the people of the CPC who practiced their original aspiration, took on the mission and led the people to rely on their own strength. On the new journey, we must examine the practical foundation and needs of Marxism in contemporary development with a broader perspective and a longer-term perspective. We must adhere to the combination of the basic principles of Marxism with China's specific realities and with China's excellent traditional culture. We must use Marxism to observe, grasp, and lead the times, and make new contributions to the development of Marxism with a more positive historical responsibility and creative spirit. We must continuously write a new chapter in the sinicization and modernization of Marxism.
We must adhere to the principle of putting the people first, fully respect the pioneering spirit of the people, pay attention to summarizing new experiences from the creative practice of the people, elevate them to rational understanding, extract new theoretical achievements, and form a theory that is grounded, gathers people's wisdom, conforms to public opinion, and wins the hearts of the people. We must adhere to self-confidence and self-reliance. We must start from China's basic national conditions and have the Chinese people answer our own questions, fully demonstrating China's path, governance, and principles. We must adhere to the principles of integrity and innovation, not only adhering to the principle of "not abandoning our ancestors", but also keeping up with the pace of the times, adapting to practical development, daring to say new things that our predecessors have not said, daring to do new things that our predecessors have not done, and guiding new practices with new theories. We must adhere to a problem oriented approach, conduct in-depth research on the questions of China, the world, the people, and the times in the context of the accelerated evolution of the "two major situations", and form theoretical achievements that are in line with China's reality and the requirements of the times and keep pace with the times. We must adhere to a systematic concept, continuously improve our abilities in strategic thinking, historical thinking, dialectical thinking, systematic thinking, innovative thinking, rule of law thinking, and bottom line thinking, and provide scientific thinking methods for forward-looking thinking, global planning, and overall promotion of various undertakings of the Party and the country.
