On the 3rd, the National Arts Council Theater in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, was packed. Rashid Jahn, who came with his entire family to watch the film, told Xinhua News Agency reporters.
On this day, the premiere of the first feature film co produced by China and Pakistan, "The Pakistani Iron Girl," was held here. The film is filmed throughout Pakistan, telling the story of a Chinese female engineer who went to Pakistan to participate in the construction of a hydroelectric power station and a local Pakistani girl who became acquainted through football, helped each other, and ultimately realized their life dreams.
The Chinese producer of the film, Xie Peng, is from Sichuan. He told reporters that after the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, Pakistan made every effort to help and transported all the strategic reserve tents to Sichuan in the first time, which deeply moved him and inspired him to develop the idea of making a movie to showcase the friendship between China and Pakistan.

"The China Pakistan Economic Corridor project is a witness to the friendship between the two peoples," Xie Peng said. "I hope to continue to inherit the traditional friendship between China and Pakistan by producing this movie, telling the story of the mutual understanding between the two peoples."
"This is a very successful collaboration," said Sayyid Jamal Shah, a Pakistani producer who previously served as the director of the National Arts Council of Pakistan. The film showcases the friendship and cooperation between the people of Pakistan and China. One of the main filming locations of the film is the Karot Hydroelectric Power Station, the first hydroelectric investment project built under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
