In Kabada Village, Lualaba Province, southeastern Congo, there is an industrial and technical school with complete facilities and first-class educational conditions. Since the official teaching in August last year, local young people no longer need to travel mountains and rivers like before, and can receive high-quality vocational skills education near their homes.
In Alaba Province, Congo, students from the Kabata Community Industrial Technology School visited and exchanged ideas at Huagang Mining. The school currently has 206 students and two majors, Electric Power and Automotive Repair, making it an important training base for technical and skilled personnel in the local area.

At the first year graduation ceremony held on July 1st, the principal of the school, Edmund, sincerely exclaimed, "I have been in the education industry for many years, and I am grateful to Huagang Mining for creating such a good industrial and technical school for us."

In addition to building schools and donating teaching materials, Huagang Mining also regularly conducts learning and exchange activities with technical schools, sharing technical skills and knowledge, providing practical opportunities for school students, transforming theoretical knowledge into practical experience, and helping students lay a solid foundation on their future career paths.
On the day of the graduation ceremony, the school organized teachers and students to come to the work site of Huagang Mining's 220 kV substation and auto repair plant. Experienced technical personnel from Huagang Mining provided theoretical lectures and practical explanations, and the students took a unique practical lesson under the guidance of Chinese masters.
For many years, there have been no professional technical schools in Kabada Village, and young people in the village can only go to the city of Kolwezi, more than ten kilometers away, or even further away, to learn handicrafts. The distant journey and high tuition fees have deterred many people, and they have started doing odd jobs early to subsidize their families.
"Many students in the past stopped studying after graduating from junior high school and chose to work. However, due to their lack of expertise, they encountered obstacles everywhere and could only engage in low-end jobs with low salaries and no technical content. Our hope is to have a school where we can learn vocational skills without traveling far away." Engoixing spoke out the voices of many young people in the local area.

In the eyes of locals, mastering a vocational skill is undoubtedly the key to finding a good job and an important step towards a stable life.
In Kabada Village, not only were schools built, but Huagang Mining also built facilities such as basketball courts, football fields, agricultural markets, village roads, and water supply systems for local residents. They donated and installed a 500 kV box type substation and were responsible for daily maintenance. At the same time, they also sent agricultural machinery and equipment such as tractors and seeders, as well as corn seeds.
Kabata Village Chief Dikubi said that as long as there is a need in the local area, Chinese enterprises will always strive to actively respond and sincerely thank them for their help.
