Collaborative development of transportation as the first shortcoming | Beijing Tianjin Hebei | Transportation
On the morning of May 28th, train K7672 slowly departed from Gu'an Station, and the commuter train from Beijing Fengtai to Gu'an, Hebei was officially opened. This is another achievement of the integrated development of transportation in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, which will further strengthen the transportation connection between Gu'an and Beijing, effectively serve the travel needs of people along the line, and better alleviate Beijing's non capital functions.
Collaborative development prioritizes transportation. Since the coordinated development of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region became a national strategy in 2014, on the one hand, the three regions have regarded transportation integration as a leading area for promoting coordinated development, comprehensively considering and planning, and jointly promoting the construction of major regional infrastructure and the optimization of transportation patterns; On the other hand, scientific planning and construction of a modern and intelligent transportation network system will accelerate the construction of a fast, convenient, efficient, safe, high-capacity, and low-cost interconnected comprehensive transportation network in the three regions. The integration of transportation, as the backbone system of the coordinated development of Beijing Tianjin Hebei, provides a solid foundation and guarantee conditions for the coordinated development of Beijing Tianjin Hebei.
Over the past nine years, the achievements of the three regions in transportation construction have been evident to all. The formation of the "Beijing Tianjin Hebei" on the track is accelerating, and the expressway network is becoming increasingly dense. The "dead end roads" are accelerating and the "capillary" roads are becoming more optimized. The core area of Beijing Tianjin Xiong is accessible in half an hour, and the one hour living circle of Beijing Tianjin Hebei is gradually becoming a reality. This provides strong support for the smooth flow of people, logistics, and information in the three regions, and also provides strong guarantees for the deepening of collaborative development.
"Promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei to a new level, and strive to make Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei a pioneer and demonstration area for Chinese path to modernization." The recent symposium on in-depth promotion of the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei places high hopes on this major national strategy, which puts forward higher requirements for the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei transportation.
A new starting point, a new journey. In order to play a leading and basic role in "making Beijing Tianjin Hebei a pilot and demonstration area for Chinese path to modernization", transportation needs to make more efforts to improve hardware. We need to strengthen the network through networking, increase the construction of railway, highway and other road networks, increase road traffic supply, and continuously promote the construction of existing transportation projects with high quality and standards.
We need to make efforts to fill the gaps, especially to address the shortcomings of insufficient channels between the Beijing Tianjin Hebei urban agglomeration, incomplete road networks in key areas and some areas, insufficient diversified transportation supply capacity, and insufficient integration and coordination of transportation modes such as air rail, air freight, and MTR.
We need to make efforts in strengthening services, focusing on the pain points of commuters in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, especially those surrounding Beijing. We will further optimize the "capillary" route, strengthen coordination among the three regions, optimize existing station settings, and make the commuting journey smoother.
