Claiming that everything was fine in Africa at the time, Prigo Ren's new video exposed private | Russia | Africa during his lifetime
A new video, suspected to be from the last few days of his life, has been exposed one week after the founder of the Russian private military group Wagner, Prigoren, died in a plane crash. Prigoren expressed confidence in his personal safety in the video, saying "everything is fine.".
The video was posted by the social platform Telegram account "Grey Zone" believed to be related to Wagner. In the video, Prigoren said to the camera in a driving off-road jeep, "For those who are discussing whether I am still alive and how I am doing: it is now a weekend in the second half of August 2023, and I am in Africa."
"For those who enjoy discussing eliminating me, or discussing my personal life, how much money I earn, or anything else, everything is fine," said Prigoren in the video
Although it is not possible to accurately verify the exact shooting date of the video, the camouflage suit, hat, and watch worn by Prigoren on his right hand perfectly match another video he released on August 21st. Based on what Prigorn claimed to be a weekend in the second half of August, the video is likely to be filmed on August 19th or 20th. This was only three or four days after he and other senior Wagner figures died in the plane crash on August 23rd.
On the evening of August 23rd, a private plane flying from the Russian capital Moscow to St. Petersburg crashed in Tver Oblast, killing all 10 people on board. Later, it was confirmed by the Russian Federation Reconnaissance Commission that the passengers on board included several high-ranking personnel from Wagner, including Prigoren.
