In 2015, I worked as a resident journalist for The Pyramid newspaper in China. Since then, I have been closely following the development and changes in China. After returning to Egypt after my term ended, I visited China almost every year. Over the years, I have witnessed the rapid changes in China and the continuous improvement of people's living standards. What surprised me was that even if I revisited Chinese cities in a short period of time, I could still discover many new changes. The CPC has united and led the Chinese people to continuously promote Chinese path to modernization, changing the face of the country step by step.

I have visited some villages in Xizang, Shaanxi and other places. The local government formulates poverty alleviation plans based on specific situations, either by implementing relocation to improve the living environment of farmers, or vigorously developing characteristic agriculture, tourism, handicrafts, etc., or by using measures such as employment guidance and low interest loans to help farmers find employment and start businesses. The common goal of these efforts is to help people increase their income and live a better life. At present, China is vigorously implementing the rural revitalization strategy and accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
