Chinese exercise commander Qiu Wensheng told the media at the welcome ceremony that the "Northern United 2023" exercise was successfully concluded on the 23rd. In this exercise, under the leadership of the joint command center, both sides carried out joint action planning, implementing joint training, command, and utilization of personnel and weapons and equipment, with the aim of jointly maintaining the safety and stability of the East Asian Maritime Strategic Corridor.
According to Deputy Commander of the Pacific Fleet Dennis Berezovsky, after a brief rest at Vladivostok Port, Russian and Chinese ships will continue to conduct joint patrols.
