Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Han Zhiqiang Meets with Thailand's New Prime Minister Sita
On August 29th, Ambassador Han Zhiqiang met with the newly appointed Prime Minister of Thailand, Saita, at the headquarters of the Thai Party.
Han Zhiqiang congratulated Saita on his election as Prime Minister of Thailand, and said that China and Thailand are good neighbors, good friends, good relatives and good partners. China is willing to work with the new Thai government to effectively align their respective development strategies, promote the high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" to achieve new results, deepen practical cooperation and exchanges in various fields, strengthen communication and coordination in regional and international affairs, and comprehensively promote the construction of a community of shared future between China and Thailand.

Saita stated that the new Thai government attaches great importance to the development of friendly relations between Thailand and China, and is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with China, further deepen cooperation between the two countries in tourism, economy and trade, investment and other fields, provide further facilitation measures for personnel exchanges between the two countries, and bring more benefits to the people of both countries. Saita also expressed his willingness to visit China as soon as possible.
