CCTV News: The latest data from the Ministry of Commerce shows that in the first five months of this year, China's overall service trade maintained a growth trend, with a total import and export of services of 2605.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%.
The proportion of knowledge intensive service trade has increased. From January to May this year, the import and export of knowledge intensive services reached 1122.78 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.6%, accounting for 43.1% of the total import and export of services, an increase of 1.3 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Among them, the export of knowledge intensive services was 656.59 billion yuan, an increase of 17.2%, and the import of knowledge intensive services was 466.19 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8%.
Travel services have significantly resumed. From January to May this year, the import and export of travel services reached 552.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 67%, making it the fastest growing service trade sector. Among them, travel service exports increased by 53.4% and imports increased by 68.1%.
