The 2023 S ã o Paulo International Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Exhibition was recently held at the Pan American Exhibition Center in S ã o Paulo, Brazil. In front of the booth of the Brazilian non-profit organization "Green Electronics", there are several iconic green recycling bins. This organization was established by the Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association in 2016, with the main goal of creating a system for recycling discarded electronic products and batteries. Guzzini, an Italian kitchen appliance brand, focuses on the recycling of plastic materials. The bowls, cups, and other items in the company's booth area are all made of waste plastic bottles, and each container is labeled with the number of plastic bottles used. For example, a 1.5-liter bowl uses 26.8 plastic bottles. Marcia Santos, the Brazilian business manager of the company, introduced that the company's mission is to "live for nature", mainly through the full process operation of plastic materials from recycling to manufacturing, to achieve sustainable development goals.
Chinese companies are highly favored by visitors for their outdoor power supply products. TCL is one of the largest exhibitors at this exhibition, showcasing innovative products such as its intelligent fresh air air conditioning with built-in ventilation function and a healthy refrigerator with door ice making function. It is reported that the sales of TCL TV products in Brazil increased by 13% year-on-year in the first five months of this year, with a market share of over 17.5%, firmly ranking among the top three in Brazil's market share. Philippe Fay, Vice President of TCL Brazil, stated that the brand's international perspective, advanced home appliance technology, and comprehensive supply chain advantages have collectively contributed to its impressive performance.
In front of Konka's booth, a movable display screen with a base has attracted many visitors for a touch experience. This innovative product that combines tablet and TV functions is called "Mobile Genie". Liao Zhike, General Manager of Konka Group's Overseas Marketing Center, stated that Konka began expanding into the Brazilian market last year. On the exhibition stand of Chinese company Laike Electric, samples such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers are placed. Guan Yan, Director of the Cross border E-commerce Department of Laike Electric, told reporters that in recent years, China's home appliance products have undergone rapid updates and are leading the global development trend. From the initial OEM production to the current independent brand research and development, the company is achieving a transformation from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing".
