In the past shipbuilding market, European shipping companies generally dominated the high-end passenger ship market, while Japan and South Korea received a large number of mid-range market orders, while Chinese shipping companies could only build orders they did not want. Guangzhou Shipbuilding International has conducted market research and found that the emission standards for automotive transport ships in the global market are relatively backward, unable to meet the surge in transportation demand for new energy vehicles. Therefore, it has decided to explore the market and develop dual fuel automotive transport ships through staggered competition.
In the second half of this year, the first dual fuel vehicle transport ship will be delivered to Norwegian shipowners.
