As of August 16, the China Laos Railway has sent a total of 20090000 passengers, including 17.09 million passengers in domestic sections and 3 million passengers in foreign sections, making new contributions to promoting the construction of the China Laos Economic Corridor and deepening the construction of the China Laos community of shared future.
At 13:19 on August 16th, the D888 international passenger train from Vientiane to Kunming South stopped steadily at platform 3 of Mohan Station; Four minutes later, the D887 international passenger train from Kunming South to Vientiane slowly departed from platform 1 of Mohan Station. This is the 126th meeting of the Fuxing and Lancang high-speed trains at Mohan Station.
Li Zijun, the passenger attendant of Mohan Station of Puer Train Depot of Kunming Railway Bureau of China, told the reporter that since the opening of the China Laos Railway, the passenger flow of Mohan Station has gradually increased. With the operation of international passenger trains, more and more foreign passengers have come. In order to adapt to changes in passenger flow more quickly, Mohan Station organizes all passengers to learn Lao and English, providing relevant convenience for international passengers and making them feel the warmth of home in China.
Mohan Station is located in Mohan Economic Development Zone, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is the largest station on the China Laos border and the whole China Laos railway line. Every day, trains at Mohan Station flow endlessly, with frequent personnel coming and going, creating a bustling scene. In particular, since the China Laos Railway opened international passenger trains on April 13 this year, 53000 passengers from 53 countries and regions have taken bullet trains to travel across borders from Mohan Station.
"In order to comprehensively improve the convenience of port customs clearance, Mohan Border Inspection Station continuously innovates service measures and has launched one-stop services such as appointment clearance, centralized inspection and release, pre inspection and pre inspection, and emergency assistance, greatly facilitating entry and exit passengers. The on-site inspection time of passengers' border inspection has increased by more than 30%, the punctuality rate of trains has reached 100%, and the inspection and release rate of general passengers has reached 100%." The China Laos Railway connects Xishuangbanna, China, Luang Prabang, Laos and other "pearls" from north to south. It is a golden tourist channel that runs through China and Southeast Asia. The railway department scientifically analyzes changes in passenger flow, dynamically adjusts capacity allocation, enriches the supply of passenger transportation products, accurately implements "one map per day", and timely adopts measures such as high-speed train coupling and full map operation, which better meets the needs of passenger travel; Optimize station and train service measures, adopt "three language" inquiry services, hang "five color Chinese knots" and other methods, actively create a warm travel environment for passengers. According to statistics, from January 1 to August 16 this year, the China Laos Railway has operated more than 13000 passenger trains, a year-on-year increase of 22%, and sent 11.2 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 101%.
