According to ABC's Chicago Channel on July 9th, there have been multiple gun violence incidents in Chicago, USA over the past weekend, resulting in at least 22 people being shot and 5 deaths.
The Chicago police released details of some of the fatal shooting cases to the media. Around 4am local time on the 8th, a 22-year-old woman was hit in the head by a bullet while walking on the street and died on the spot; Around 8:50 pm, a 28 year old man was found to have been shot in the abdomen and died despite ineffective treatment; At around 9:45 pm, a 41 year old man was found to have been shot in the abdomen and back, and died after being sent to the hospital.
