Dragon boat racing, colorful flowers, and even the mascot of this year's Universiade, Rongbao, has been woven into various ropes and placed on exhibition shelves. The Chinese knot, symbolizing good luck, has become a favorite among athletes, as they diligently complete their work from learning techniques to getting started.

"What they are making is an auspicious knot," said Yang Wenyi, the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage at the city level in Xinjin, Chengdu. He hopes that they can achieve good results at the Universiade and fulfill their dreams in Chengdu.
