There are a total of 113 countries and 6500 athletes participating in this Universiade, with 3512 male athletes and 2988 female athletes. Among them, there are 35 countries in Asia, 36 countries in Europe, 15 countries in the Americas, 24 countries in Africa, and 3 countries in Oceania.

This Universiade consists of 18 major events and 269 minor events. According to the schedule, archery, water polo, and basketball have started on the 27th and 28th, with 171 technical officials participating in the referee. At the same time, 17 events have undergone pre race training, and the final rowing event will also begin pre race training on July 30th.
Starting from the 29th, the other 15 events will start one after another. On the 29th, 11 events including martial arts, volleyball, table tennis, and shooting will kick off, generating 17 gold medals. Among them, 6 gold medals will be won in martial arts, 5 gold medals in judo, 4 gold medals in shooting, and 2 gold medals in taekwondo.

At present, all facilities, general materials, competition specific equipment, timing, scoring, and results systems in all competition venues have been installed and debugged in place; All 20494 operational teams from 40 competition venue centers are on duty; 446 international technical officials and 1048 domestic technical officials have successively arrived in Chengdu; The competition information, competition registration, weighing, and sewing centers of the Dayun Village, as well as the competition consultation desks of the 26 competition venue centers, have all been officially operational on July 22nd; All sports display lighting, dance, interactive performances, and other content will be implemented; 200 flag lifters, 314 professional volunteers in award ceremony, and award materials have all been in place; 22 doping control stations are ready.
