The Bengbu Longhu Bridge is a highway bridge spanning Longzi Lake in Bengbu City. The main span of the bridge is about 800 meters long and 36 meters wide. It is not only the main road for east-west transportation in Bengbu City, but also an excellent scenic spot for viewing the scenery of Longzi Lake.
From June 23, a totally closed iron sheet enclosure was suddenly built on the sidewalk on the south side of the Longhu Bridge, and the tactile paving was also enclosed in the enclosure.

From June 30th to July 2nd, Bengbu held a three-day Longhu Music Festival, with the venue located on the lawn on the east side of the Longzi Lake Bridge. The reporter stood on the bridge and observed that the nearest location was about 400 meters away from the concert venue. Although there is a certain distance, due to the high terrain and wide field of view, it is indeed possible to have a relatively complete view of the main stage.
The reporter inquired about ticket information and learned that the music festival lasts for three days, with ticket prices ranging from 99 yuan to 369 yuan. Is installing a fence to prevent everyone from cheating on tickets? The organizer denied this and stated that the installation of the fence was for safety reasons.
The earliest netizen to release the video also quickly posted a short video stating that the organizers of the music festival contacted her and said that installing the fence was for everyone's safety. But on the day this video was released, June 26th, the fence installed on the bridge suddenly began to be removed. Since the fence was built for safety, why did it need to be dismantled in a few days?
In response, the organizers stated that after fans questioned the construction of the fence, they made temporary safety adjustments, dismantled the fence, and made reasonable adjustments to the entire security plan on the Longzihu Bridge.

Faced with questions from reporters, Li Wenqi, the on-site conductor of the music festival, said, "It may be due to negligence in our work considerations. We need to invite relevant departments for guidance, but there may have been delays in our work and we were unable to provide timely safety guidance and publicity to our fans."
The enclosure built this time is a temporary structure, which not only occupies the sidewalk and tactile paving, but also damages the pavement. Have the traffic police, urban management, municipal and other departments fulfilled their regulatory responsibilities in the face of this situation?
In this regard, the organizers acknowledge that the fence belongs to the category of "building before approval". At the Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Bengbu City, the head of the Law Enforcement Information Department also told the CCTV reporter that there were indeed no approval procedures for building the fence.
The program showed at 4 minutes and 45 seconds that the person in charge of the Law Enforcement Information Department of the Bengbu Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau hesitated and continued to shake his legs in response to questions from reporters.

At the scene of the bridge, the reporter saw that all the steel nails exposed to the ground after the fence was removed had been cut off, and there were still traces of cutting and polishing on the floor tiles. The holes in the steel nails had also been filled and repaired.
At the junction of the bridge guardrail, in order to prevent the citizens from entering the music festival site through the gap, part of the fence was retained and still occupied a small section of tactile paving. And extending forward from this part of the fence, there are also hundreds of meters of fences, which isolate the originally open lawn park from the outside world and form an independent venue for holding concerts.

On June 25, netizens reported that the Longhu Bridge in Bengbu, Anhui Province, was blocked by iron sheet due to the music festival, and also occupied the tactile paving. On June 26th, the organizers of the music festival responded that the iron fence added to the bridge was for safety reasons. The organizers also paid attention to the voices of netizens questioning it, and the fence has now been removed.
From June 30th to July 2nd, a music festival will be held at the Longhu Art and Music Festival Square in Bengbu, Anhui. At that time, musicians such as Wang Sulong, Chen Linong, and Nan Quan Mama will perform here. Some netizens said that the organizers would destroy the bridge and occupy the tactile paving to build fences in order to prevent the audience without tickets from rubbing against the music festival on the bridge.
On June 26th, the organizers told Beijing Youth Daily reporters that the iron fence was built for safety reasons. They believe that there are safety hazards in the guardrails of the bridge, and they are concerned that the audience may fall off the bridge while watching the performance, so they added fences. The organizer stated that they have paid attention to the voices of netizens and expressed understanding. Currently, the fence has been removed. During the music festival performance, the organizer will also send extra personnel to maintain order on the bridge.
On June 27th, Bengbu City announced that the Longhu Bridge has been fully restored, and the municipal department will conduct an acceptance of the restoration situation. Further measures will be taken in accordance with the law and regulations based on the acceptance results. During the Longhu Music Festival from June 30th to July 2nd, traffic control will be implemented on Donghai Avenue, with 500 security and special police personnel arranged to maintain order on site. Additionally, 200 volunteers will participate in order maintenance and coordination work.
