Cao Zhi undergoes disciplinary review and supervisory investigation
According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Cao Zhi, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law. He is currently undergoing disciplinary and supervisory investigations by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.

Cao Zhi, male, Han nationality, was born in Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province in April 1973. He started working in August 1992 and joined the CPC in November 1996. He has an on-the-job postgraduate degree. He has served as the Deputy Secretary and District Mayor of Jiawang District Committee in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, the Secretary of Jiawang District Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress in Xuzhou City, a member and Deputy Commissioner of the Kashgar District Committee, Secretary General of the Kashgar District Committee, Secretary General of the Kashgar Economic Development Zone Party Working Committee, and a member and Deputy Director of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
