"Russia's deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus is a response to NATO and Washington's long-standing destabilizing nuclear policy, as well as the fundamental changes that have occurred in critical areas of European security recently," said Polishyuk
Polisiuk emphasized, "The purpose of this forced containment measure is to ensure the security of the alliance countries. As is well known, alliance countries have a common defense space. Therefore, Russian tactical nuclear weapons can only be withdrawn from Belarusian territory if the United States and NATO abandon destructive policies aimed at undermining the security of Russia and Belarus. This means that the United States must withdraw all nuclear weapons from its homeland and destroy the corresponding infrastructure built in Europe."

Russian President Putin stated in March that Moscow and Minsk have agreed to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. In June, Putin announced that according to the plans of Russia and Belarus, the first batch of nuclear ammunition had arrived in Belarus.
At the same time, Belarusian President Lukashenka pointed out that the Russia-Ukraine conflict would not lead to the use of nuclear weapons by all parties, but if NATO invaded Belarus or Russia, the two countries would "let go".
