Breaking the record for the highest number of multiple stars with one arrow in China! The Lijian-1 YJ-2 carrier rocket has successfully launched 26 satellites in China | carrier rocket | highest record
On June 7, the Chinese Academy of Sciences announced that at 12:10 Beijing time that day, the "Lijian-1" Yao-2 carrier rocket, developed by the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and with the participation of China Science Aerospace Corporation, was successfully launched in the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the form of "26 satellites with one arrow". A total of 26 satellites, such as Experiment 24 A and B, which were mainly used to provide commercial remote sensing information and other services, were successfully put into the scheduled orbit. The launch mission was a complete success, and also set a new record for China's one rocket with multiple satellites.
The launch mission of "One Arrow 26 Stars" is the second space flight of China's largest solid carrier rocket "Lijian-1", marking the maturity and continuous improvement of Lijian-1 carrier rocket technology, which will accelerate the commercial launch of China's commercial carrier rockets.
The Lijian-1 YJ-2 carrier rocket, which is carrying out this satellite launch mission, is one of the first rockets produced in Nansha, Guangzhou. It adopts an advanced pulsating production mode and has formed a complete production and manufacturing service system, marking a new stage of mass production, large-scale operation, and series development for the Lijian-1 rocket. It can provide high-quality, low-cost, and fast response customized launch services for domestic and foreign satellite users, and will further promote a new chapter in the flight launch of commercial carrier rockets in China.
In this "One Arrow 26 Satellite" mission, the "Lijian-1" Yao 2 carrier rocket was coated with the official IP "Hangxiaomeng" of the National Space Administration of China, one of the official science popularization IPs of the Aerospace Science and Industry Group "Wanxiaohu", and the official IP "Keke" of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. This remarkable brand collaboration aims to encourage Chinese scientific and technological workers to always adhere to their aspirations of serving the country through science and technology innovation and build a strong foundation for the country.
It is understood that the Lijian 1 carrier rocket has a takeoff weight of 135 tons, a takeoff thrust of 200 tons, a total length of 30 meters, a core diameter of 2.65 meters, and a 500 kilometer sun synchronous orbit carrying capacity of 1500 kilograms. In July 2022, the first flight mission of the Lijian-1 carrier rocket was a complete success, breaking through 6 major key technologies and 13 technologies used domestically for the first time, enriching the spectrum of China's solid carrier rocket launch capabilities and making important contributions to the technological transformation in the field of China's carrier rockets.
