Biden Trump duels again? The number of Americans who say "no" has reached a new high, Biden | Poll | Americans
According to a report on the website of the Congressional Hill Daily on June 25th, a latest poll by CNN and SSRS shows that the number of Americans who do not want current President Biden or former President Trump to be re elected as president in 2024 has reached a historic high.
Polls show that 33% of Americans support Trump, 32% support Biden, but 36% of Americans do not have a favorable impression of either. Especially among registered voters, 31% of Americans do not support any leading candidate.
According to reports, these numbers indicate that the support rate of American voters for candidates has deviated from normal levels, and most Americans typically support at least one leader. The last poll conducted by CNN during the 2020 election showed that only 5% of Americans said they neither liked Biden nor Trump. CNN reported that during the 2012 election, this proportion was even lower, with only 3% of voters stating that they neither liked Democratic candidate Obama nor Republican candidate Romney.
The poll conducted from June 13th to 17th also showed that Biden's approval rating is declining. A poll earlier this month showed that Biden's disapproval rate has increased by 2 percentage points since April.
But Biden remains the Democratic Party's best candidate. Meanwhile, after being sued by federal court earlier this month, Trump's lead over other competitors within the Republican Party has expanded. Currently, Florida Governor Ron de Santis remains the second ranked candidate within the Republican Party.
