Under the promotion of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions, a group of pilot units, including Dongfang Yuhong and the First Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd., have launched childcare services for infants and young children aged 0 to 3. The pilot units include urban sub centers, medical, education, public security and other government institutions, as well as central enterprises, municipal state-owned enterprises, and non-public enterprises under the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions. Each unit explores its internal potential, formulates strict operational management, safety assurance, and supervision and inspection systems, and provides childcare services to employees at affordable prices and seamlessly integrated childcare time with their working hours.
As of now, 14 units including the Beijing Public Security Bureau have been announced by the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions as "Beijing Love and Childcare Employers". Among them, the First Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd., Dongfang Yuhong Civil Building Materials Co., Ltd., and Beijing Jindilai Business Association Co., Ltd. located in Miyun District have also been announced as "National Love and Childcare Employers" by the All China Federation of Trade Unions and the National Health Commission, forming a batch of replicable and promotable typical experiences.
Previously, the General Office of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the National Health Commission jointly issued a notice, announcing that 75 household units, including the First Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd., will be selected as national caring childcare employers in 2022. For these units, the All China Federation will allocate 7.5 million yuan of special funds, with a standard of 100000 yuan per employer, to provide funding subsidies for national caring childcare services. Provincial trade unions will also provide no less than 1:1 funding support.
