Becoming an international standard!, These two technologies in our country
Two wireless local area network access control technologies in China have become international standards
The reporter recently learned from the WAPI Industry Alliance that China's two independently developed wireless local area network access control technologies - networking architecture and scheduling platform technology - have been jointly released as international standards by the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission. This is the first batch of international standards proposed and released by China in the field of wireless communication network cloud management technology, focusing on infrastructure and networking modes.
It is reported that the above technical standards have broken through the bottleneck of wireless local area network and greatly improved the efficiency of device management, deployment, and maintenance. They can build a high-capacity, highly reliable, scalable, and manageable operational level WLAN network.
China Telecom, WAPI Industry Alliance, Xidian Jietong Company, and Xinhua San Technology Co., Ltd. are the main technical contributors to the two international standards mentioned above. The above technical standard project editor and senior engineer of China Telecom, Gao Bo, introduced that these two international standards standardize a new cloud based deployment mode for large-scale networking, further improving the flexibility, robustness, and scalability of WLAN networking, meeting the requirements of operational level WLAN network applications. Currently, they have been deployed on a large scale in the construction of Shanghai's "Wireless City", providing more than 10000 WLAN hotspot services.
Zhang Lulu, Secretary General of WAPI Industry Alliance, stated that these two international standards are supplements and improvements to the existing WLAN technology standard system in large-scale deployment application scenarios, and have broad prospects, allowing more users to enjoy the convenience brought by secure wireless local area networks.
