According to the public resume, Le Yucheng, male, Han ethnicity, born in June 1963 in Jiangsu Province, graduated from university and a member of the Communist Party of China.
Le Yucheng studied at Jiangsu Tourism School in his early years and worked at Nanjing Tourism Hotel after graduation. In 1982, he entered Nanjing Normal University, specializing in Russian language and literature.
In 1986, Le Yucheng joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and successively served in the Eurasian Department, the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation, and the Policy Research Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Le Yucheng was appointed as the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2011, the Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan in 2013, and the following year he was transferred to the position of Chinese Ambassador to India.
After returning to China in 2016, Le Yucheng assumed the position of Deputy Director of the Central Foreign Affairs Office and two years later became Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. In June 2022, Le Yucheng was transferred to the position of Deputy Director and Party Member of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.
