During the interview, Feda's father choked up several times. Two years ago, Feda crashed from a US military plane onto the roof of a residential building, and people around him called Feda's father. Without any preparation, he received the news of Feda's death.

Fei Da went to the airport without telling his family on that day. After receiving his bad news, the whole family fell into grief as they searched around to inquire about the situation at the airport that day.

At the time of his death, Fei was 25 years old and his family was not well-off. In order to train Feda to become a dentist, the family spent all their savings, and later when Feda got married, the family even borrowed foreign debt. This also prompted him to hope to go to the United States to earn more money to help his family. But he may not have imagined that American military planes would forcefully take off among the Afghan crowd.

This tragedy occurred in August 2021. On August 26th of that year, the US military, which was hastily retreating, was attacked by a suicide attack by a branch of extremist organization, Khorasan, outside Kabul airport, resulting in the death of 13 US Marine Corps personnel.
