According to reports, at around 9:45 am local time on the 22nd, a bus fell into the water in Chalogati County, about 200 kilometers south of Dhaka. The local police said that the deceased included at least 8 women and 3 children.
According to the picture report, upon receiving the news, members of the local fire department immediately rushed to the scene and began rescue operations.
Animash Mandor, a motor vehicle inspector who arrived at the scene, said that the bus was traveling at high speed when the vehicle suddenly slipped off the road and fell into the water on the roadside.
Mandel added that currently, the involved bus has been fished out of the water.
