Recently, a picture and text message of a "Zhuhai Bridge dismemberment" with police cars and other photos spread across multiple WeChat groups, attracting the attention of netizens and causing negative social impact.
The Zhuhai Public Security Bureau attaches great importance to this and, in conjunction with the ongoing special action to crack down on online rumors, immediately organizes forces to conduct an investigation.
After investigation, it has been confirmed that the graphic and textual information is purely fabricated rumors. On the basis of thorough investigation and evidence collection, the public security organs, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Administration Punishments, imposed administrative detention penalties on Guo, Rong, and Zhu.
