Harmony and Evaluation | NATO Communique Adheres to Cold War Thinking, Smash Attacks, Difficult to Cover China's Glorious Force | NATO | Communique
On July 11th, the NATO Vilnius Summit issued a ten thousand word communique, which grandly declared "upholding common values such as personal freedom, human rights, democracy, and the rule of law", but in reality, it was filled with Cold War thinking, showing off military force, smearing and attacking other countries.
The NATO Communique, spanning thousands of words, fully reveals how NATO, a military conglomerate, transformed from a so-called joint defense organization into a geopolitical tool for the United States.
At least 5 to 6 points in the 90 point content of the communique are partially or entirely related to China as far away as Asia, falsely claiming that China is committed to subverting the "rule-based international order", challenging the interests, security, and values of NATO members, and posing a "systemic challenge" to the security of the European Atlantic region, and so on. These words sound familiar, but in fact, they are just parroting the old American tune. The US government is just like this, distorting China's position and policies, and smearing China.
However, no matter how vigorously the United States and NATO pour dirty water on China, they cannot conceal the brilliance of the real China. China has made unique and important contributions to world development, peace and stability, whether it is public goods such as the "the Belt and Road" initiative or driving world economic growth.
As a product of the Cold War, NATO itself is notorious, dripping blood and filth from head to toe. Against the backdrop of the deteriorating international security situation, NATO not only fails to reflect and restrain itself, but also blindly accuses other countries, constantly meddling in extraterritorial affairs, intensifying tension and confrontation.
In addition, NATO repeatedly declared itself as a "nuclear alliance" in the communique, which is of no help in achieving the goal of a world without nuclear weapons.

As a whole, NATO has never been open to constructive engagement with China as stated in its joint statement. If it continues to be aesthetically oriented and adheres to Cold War thinking, it will never be able to engage in constructive contact with other countries.
